Dear friends,
Sometime between the mornings of June 21st and 22nd, sweet Lincoln's heart stopped beating. On Friday, June 22nd at 12:55pm he was born directly into the waiting arms of Jesus. He was beautiful, whole, and incredibly loved. His services will be held on Tuesday evening, June 26th, at Callahan Road Baptist Church. We will receive friends from 5:30p to 8p, with a service to follow. Lincoln's obituary will be published in the Knoxville News Sentinel tomorrow and Tuesday. Our family would like to thank you all for your continued love, prayers, and privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI know how hard it is. It is the most shattering thing imaginable to lose a child. I got your blog address from a friend of yours who knew I also lost a child and asked me for my blog address and anything else I found that was helpful. I'm sure she has or will pass it on to you soon. I know everything is so overwhelming and unbelievable right now. Just be gentle on yourself and expect the grief to get much worse before it gets better. I'm not saying this to discourage you but simply so you know it's normal. It's been 10 1/2 months since our little Eva went to Heaven and it still feels like yesterday many days.
